
SENIOR LABORATORY AND COMPLIANCE ASSESSMENT MANAGER (R&D ENVIRONMENT)

We are recruiting a Senior Laboratory and Compliance Assessment Manager for a leading multinational industrial company, located near Pamplona (Spain).
This role combines an initial phase leading an international transformation project with the management of the Laboratory and Compliance Assessment team (validation, testing, and regulatory compliance).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the team strategy (20 employees), aligning product development, validation, and regulatory compliance with business objectives.
• Manage and drive the transformation project, coordinating resources, teams, and timelines.
• Oversee and develop the laboratory team (test engineering and technicians).
• Supervise product verification, validation, and certification activities, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with national and international standards.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems and accreditations (ISO/IEC 17025).
• Coordinate communication with certification bodies, external partners, and internal departments (Quality, Production, Product).
• Promote continuous improvement, technical innovation, and operational excellence within the laboratory.

Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory and compliance assessment roles (testing labs, validation, or product certification) within R&D environment (e.g., mechanical/electromechanical components or automotive sector).
• Strong knowledge of IEC/EN standards, certification processes, and laboratory quality systems (ISO/IEC 17025).
• Fluent English (C1 level) is required.
