We are recruiting a Head of Engineering & Team Lead for a multinational company in the industrial and technology sector, with a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence. This role will play a key part in leading the electro-mechanical engineering department, working transversally with international teams and aligning the technical strategy with the company’s global business objectives.
What will your responsibilities be?
• Lead and develop the engineering department team, managing competencies, performance, engagement, and professional growth within an international environment.
• Define and anticipate the evolution of the department’s technical capabilities in alignment with corporate strategy and business needs.
• Act as a technical reference and key interface between engineering, marketing, manufacturing and stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Size and allocate resources to support teams and cross-functional projects, ensuring capacity, efficiency, and operational balance.
• Coach and mentor technical team members, driving the achievement of objectives and proactively anticipating risks in complex, multicultural contexts.
• Manage career development plans, fostering continuous learning, and global knowledge sharing.
• Ensure operational efficiency through the implementation of common methods, tools, and standards, proposing investments and improvements aligned with the strategy.

What are we looking for in you?
• University degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading engineering departments or multidisciplinary technical teams in international industrial environments.
• Strong background in competency management, people development, and technical leadership.
• Experience working in agile and matrix organizations, collaborating with distributed teams and cross-functional projects, with strong business orientation.
• Ability to manage complex decisions with an impact on costs, processes, and strategic objectives.
• Strong communication, influence, and collaboration skills in multicultural environments.
• Fluent English, with the ability to operate daily in an international context.
